Jerseys Shore star may opt for silicone breast implants

When a celebrity is on TV several times a week, carousing on the beach and nestled into a hot tub in a bikini, her breasts are bound to get some attention.

When rumors swirled recently that MTV's Jersey Shore star Jenni "JWOWW" Farley was preparing to undergo breast augmentation surgery, she had a few questions to answer first.

During an appearance on ABC's The View last week, the reality TV personality clarified that she was not planning on getting bigger implants.

Instead, Farley said, she would opt to go under the knife to replace the implants she already has.

"I got [the implants] when I was younger. At a certain age you can only get saline not silicone," she told the news source. "That's the only thing I would consider - switching them."

Aside from being the preferred choice for implants, silicone products can also be used to aid in scar healing once the breast augmentation surgery has been completed.

By applying products such as silicone gel sheeting and silicone ointment to the surface of the skin, the appearance of surgery scars can be reduced within weeks of the surgery.
