Our 100% premium grade silicone sheeting can stay on clean skin for up to twelve hours. This is a great option for those who would prefer to cover up their scar and let it fade under the sheeting. Our sheeting is perfect for bedtime use as it can stay on your body while you wind down for the night and stays on your body while you sleep. Once the twelve hours are up you will wash the sheeting with water and our hypoallergenic soap SilqueClenz and leave the sheeting out to dry. Once the sheeting is dry it can be applied to clean skin for another twelve hours. A brand new product that has just been released is our Drying Rack. This is the perfect solution to those who have questioned whether or not to leave their sheeting out to dry sticky side up or sticky side down on a clean counter top. With this new innovative product you can apply the Epi-Derm sheeting directly onto the drying rack which has been crafted specifically for Biodermis sheeting.
A useful tip before or after purchasing our Epi-Derm sheeting is to go to our website Biodermis.com and watch our Epi-Derm Instructional Video which is linked under each Epi-Derm product. Premium grade silicone should be used on your scars for 2-3 months. This is generally the time frame that patients see the best results in their scar treatment journey. However, because everyone’s skin is different and everyone’s scars heal in different ways, some patients will see results sooner than the recommended 2-3 months. On a daily basis, for silicone gel to be effective, it should be used for 12-24 hours per day. With proper washing and care taken your sheeting will last a longer duration than other sheeting as our Epi-Derm products are thick and durable making them strong enough to withstand consistent washing. With the new Drying Rack you can leave your sheeting to dry on a clean surface that was intended for Epi-Derm care.
